Sometimes I wonder if you're actually there
when I needed you most
I need you in many ways,
in order to breathe, feel, and see the world in colour

Sometimes I feel like I'm sinking
Drowning, while you're soaring
I feel like you're disappearing
without my knowledge of why
this is happening.
Without you here infront of me
I am lost and cold

Sometimes, my mind is telling me
to run to you, chase and hug you
Until I know that you won't leave
even for a bit.

Sometimes I just want you to make your move
not thinking of anything,
not worrying about anything
But me in your arms
and you in mine.

Sometimes, I want to hear you say
"I can be yours if you can be mine"
or something simple like
"I like you just as you like me"
But that'll be selfish of me to think that
because I don't know what you're thinking and feeling
when I'm around
and when you're around.

Sometimes I just want to tell the whole world
about how much you mean to me right now
You're the only one I worry, wonder and pray for
I want God to keep you safe,
healthy and blessed with grace
especially when you need it most
